Lesley has helped me chart a course to become that person I’ve had my eyes on, the woman I’ve wanted to evolve into. The pandemic threw me off course, and work from home life created another level of anxiety which developed bad habits. I gave birth to my second child which left my body significantly overweight. Coupled with the lack of sleep, little energy, and no motivation, I was headed nowhere. Lesley understood exactly what I as a Mom was going through and could relate, which is why we hit it off so quickly. Within a week of having Lesley in my corner, I experienced higher energy levels, my pants were fitting better, and I had time to do the things that really mattered to me, like reading, cooking, and spending time with friends. She has kept me on track and is helping me to build better habits. I still have a lot of work to do, but I can’t imagine ever refertin back to the woman I used to be.

Before working with Healing Mindfully, I was not exercising at all outside of walking the dog a few times a week and I felt that I was not making healthy choices in terms of food. In the past, I had done better when I was accountable to someone for my workout and food goals so I tried this. What is great and unique about this program is that it isn't just about diet and exercise, but about improving sleep and family relationships. I have never seen other programs focus on my role as a parent and wife and how that could be improved as well. We have really appreciated Lesley’s help and I do feel like we are more connected as a family.
